Dr. Taji’s North Star

Dr. Taji’s father’s name was Tara. He suffered from severe post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after the Vietnam War. Dr. Taji observed the destruction of unmanaged mental health and how the lack of quality services affected her father. This experience motivated Dr. Taji to become a social worker.

In Indian countries, “Tara” means “star.” Dr. Taji’s North Star, inspired by her father, is the firm belief that healing is possible. She looks forward to helping you understand the underlying causes of what’s holding you back, overcome obstacles, chart a path forward, and achieve positive change that brings you peace and contentment.
